The Rolex Datejust 41 126300-0029 debuted in 2026 as an Oystersteel configuration of the Datejust collection, pairing the 41 mm case with a bright blue dial and a smooth bezel. In this reference, the emphasis falls on the clarity of the Datejust design itself: the smooth bezel, Oyster bracelet, and sunray dial combine to give the watch a more direct and restrained profile than fluted-bezel or Jubilee-bracelet versions of the same model. Its Oyster case measures 41 mm in diameter and follows the established architecture of the Datejust line, with a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back, and Twinlock screw-down winding crown. Executed entirely in Oystersteel, the case is fitted with a smooth bezel that gives the watch a cleaner outline and a more understated character than the white-gold fluted alternatives in the collection. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal incorporates the Cyclops lens over the date, and water resistance is rated to 100 metres, preserving the practical Oyster construction that underpins the model. The dial is executed in bright blue with a sunray finish. This surface treatment is created through radial brushing from the centre outward, producing reflections that shift as the watch moves on the wrist. The colour is then applied after the finishing stage, followed by a coat of varnish that gives the dial its final appearance. In this reference, the bright blue dial introduces a stronger colour presence than the more neutral Datejust variants, while retaining the familiar display arrangement with central hours, minutes, and seconds, applied hour markers, and the date aperture at 3 o’clock. Inside is Rolex calibre 3235, a self-winding manufacture movement with centre hours, minutes, and seconds, instantaneous date with rapid setting, stop-seconds for precise time setting, and a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. It runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and is equipped with a blue Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers. As in other Datejust 41 references, the movement combines the collection’s everyday date function with Rolex’s current automatic architecture. The watch is fitted with an Oyster bracelet in Oystersteel, with three-piece solid links, a folding Oysterclasp, and the Easylink comfort extension system allowing approximately 5 mm of adjustment. In this configuration, the bracelet works with the smooth bezel to keep the overall design more restrained and contemporary in character, allowing the bright blue dial to remain the principal visual element. The result is a Datejust 41 that stays close to the core formula of the collection while standing apart through its crisp steel construction and vivid sunray dial.
