The Rolex Datejust 36 126233-0048 debuted in 2018 as a Yellow Rolesor configuration within the Datejust collection, combining a 36 mm Oyster case with a white dial, Roman numeral hour markers, a fluted bezel, and an Oyster bracelet.
Its Oyster case measures 36 mm in diameter and follows the established Datejust construction with a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back, and Twinlock screw-down winding crown. The case is executed in Yellow Rolesor, combining Oystersteel and yellow gold, while the bezel is the classic fluted type in yellow gold. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with the Cyclops lens covers the dial side, and water resistance is rated to 100 metres.
The dial is executed in white and fitted with Roman numeral hour markers, giving this reference a more traditional character within the Datejust 36 line. The display follows the standard Datejust layout of central hours, minutes, and seconds with a date window at 3 o’clock.
Inside is Rolex calibre 3235, a self-winding mechanical movement with central hours, minutes, and seconds, instantaneous date with rapid setting, and stop-seconds for precise time setting. It offers a power reserve of approximately 70 hours and is equipped with a blue Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers.
The watch is fitted with an Oyster bracelet in Yellow Rolesor with three-piece solid links. It is secured by an Oysterclasp folding clasp and incorporates the Easylink comfort extension system, allowing approximately 5 mm of on-the-wrist adjustment.
