In this reference, the familiar Datejust formula is preserved, but the overall character shifts through the interplay of dial colour, bracelet style, and the softer outline of the bezel, giving the watch a warmer and slightly more classic appearance than the Oyster-bracelet counterpart. Its Oyster case measures 36 mm in diameter and follows the established construction of the Datejust line, with a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back, and Twinlock screw-down winding crown. The case is executed in yellow Rolesor, Rolex’s combination of Oystersteel and yellow gold, and is fitted with a domed bezel rather than a fluted one. This choice keeps the case profile smoother and less formal than on fluted Datejust references, while the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with Cyclops lens over the date preserves one of the collection’s defining display elements. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres. The dial is executed in olive green with a sunray finish. This treatment is created through radial brushing from the centre outward, producing shifting reflections across the surface as the watch moves. The colour is then applied after the finishing process and sealed with a coat of varnish.
