The Rolex Datejust 36 126283RBR-0043 debuted in 2026 as a gem-set yellow Rolesor interpretation of the Datejust collection, combining the 36 mm Oyster case with an olive green dial, a diamond-set bezel, and a Jubilee bracelet. In this reference, the core Datejust layout remains unchanged, but the bezel treatment gives the watch a more jewellery-oriented profile than the domed- or fluted-bezel variants in the same family. Its Oyster case measures 36 mm in diameter and follows the established architecture of the Datejust line, with a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back, and Twinlock screw-down winding crown. Executed in yellow Rolesor, Rolex’s combination of Oystersteel and yellow gold, the case is fitted with a bezel set with diamonds rather than the more conventional domed or fluted profile. That change alters the visual balance of the watch immediately, giving the case a brighter and more decorative perimeter while preserving the familiar Oyster construction. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal incorporates the Cyclops lens over the date, and water resistance is rated to 100 metres. The dial is executed in olive green with a sunray finish. This treatment is created through radial brushing from the centre outward, producing shifting reflections across the surface as the watch moves. The colour is then applied after the finishing process and sealed with a coat of varnish. In this reference, the olive green dial provides a more subdued and earthy counterpoint to the more assertive bezel treatment, while the familiar display remains intact with central hours, minutes, and seconds, applied hour markers, and the date window at 3 o’clock. Inside is Rolex calibre 3235, a self-winding manufacture movement with centre hours, minutes, and seconds, instantaneous date with rapid setting, stop-seconds for precise time setting, and a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. It runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and is equipped with a blue Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers. As in other Datejust references using this calibre, the movement combines the collection’s everyday date function with Rolex’s current automatic architecture. The watch is fitted with a Jubilee bracelet in yellow Rolesor, with five-piece links, a folding Oysterclasp, and the Easylink comfort extension system allowing approximately 5 mm of adjustment. In this configuration, the bracelet preserves the Datejust’s familiar visual identity, while the diamond-set bezel and olive green dial create a more layered contrast between decorative detail and restrained colour. The result is a Datejust 36 that remains clearly part of the collection, yet takes on a more embellished character through the treatment of its bezel.
