Its Oyster case measures 36 mm in diameter and follows the standard Datejust construction with a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back, and Twinlock screw-down winding crown. The case is executed in Yellow Rolesor, combining Oystersteel and yellow gold, while the bezel is set with diamonds. A scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with Cyclops lens covers the dial side, and water resistance is rated to 100 metres. The dial is executed in bright black with a sunray finish and fitted with Roman numeral hour markers in the updated style. The display consists of central hours, minutes, and seconds with a date window at 3 o’clock. In this configuration, the gem-set bezel becomes the primary decorative feature, set against a dial whose visual emphasis comes from contrast and marker form rather than gem-setting. Inside is Rolex calibre 3235, a self-winding mechanical movement with central hours, minutes, and seconds, instantaneous date with rapid setting, and stop-seconds for precise time setting. It offers a power reserve of approximately 70 hours and is equipped with a blue Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers. The watch is fitted with an Oyster bracelet in Yellow Rolesor with three-piece solid links. It is secured by an Oysterclasp folding clasp and incorporates the Easylink comfort extension system, allowing approximately 5 mm of on-the-wrist adjustment.
