The Rolex Datejust 36 126234-0072 debuted in 2026 as a white Rolesor configuration of the Datejust collection, combining the 36 mm Oyster case with a dark grey dial, a fluted bezel, and an Oyster bracelet. This reference is distinguished by diamond-set Roman numerals at VI and IX, executed in 18 ct gold and set with 24 diamonds. Its Oyster case measures 36 mm in diameter and follows the established architecture of the Datejust line, with a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back, and Twinlock screw-down winding crown. The case is executed in white Rolesor, combining Oystersteel with a white gold fluted bezel. The watch is fitted with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with Cyclops lens over the date and is water-resistant to 100 metres. The dial is executed in dark grey with a sunray finish. Its most distinctive detail is the Roman VI and IX, both in 18 ct gold and set with 24 diamonds. The display otherwise retains the standard Datejust layout with central hours, minutes, and seconds and a date aperture at 3 o’clock. Inside is Rolex calibre 3235, a self-winding manufacture movement with centre hours, minutes, and seconds, instantaneous date with rapid setting, stop-seconds for precise time setting, and a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. It runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and is equipped with a blue Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers. The watch is fitted with an Oyster bracelet in Oystersteel, with three-piece solid links, a folding Oysterclasp, and the Easylink comfort extension system allowing approximately 5 mm of adjustment. This configuration combines the fluted Datejust case with the Oyster bracelet and the diamond-set Roman numeral dial.
