The Rolex Datejust 36 126201-0053 debuted in 2026 as an Everose Rolesor configuration of the Datejust collection, combining the 36 mm Oyster case with a chocolate dial set with diamonds, a domed bezel, and a Jubilee bracelet. In this reference, the familiar Datejust format is preserved, but the softer bezel profile and five-link bracelet give the watch a more fluid and slightly less formal character than fluted-bezel counterparts, while the chocolate dial and diamond-set markers add a richer decorative note. Its Oyster case measures 36 mm in diameter and follows the established architecture of the Datejust line, with a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back, and Twinlock screw-down winding crown. The case is executed in Everose Rolesor, Rolex’s combination of Oystersteel and Everose gold, and is fitted with a domed bezel rather than a fluted one. That bezel choice gives the watch a smoother outline and places greater emphasis on the dial and bracelet. The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal incorporates the Cyclops lens over the date, and water resistance is rated to 100 metres. The dial is executed in chocolate with a sunray finish and set with diamonds in 18 ct gold settings. The radial brushing produces shifting reflections across the surface, while the warm brown tone works closely with the Everose elements in the case and bracelet. In this reference, the diamond-set hour markers add a more decorative dimension to the display without changing the underlying Datejust layout, which remains centred on the display of hours, minutes, seconds, and the date at 3 o’clock. Inside is Rolex calibre 3235, a self-winding manufacture movement with centre hours, minutes, and seconds, instantaneous date with rapid setting, stop-seconds for precise time setting, and a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. It runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour and is equipped with a blue Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers. As in other Datejust references using this calibre, the movement combines the collection’s everyday date function with Rolex’s current automatic architecture. The watch is fitted with a Jubilee bracelet in Everose Rolesor, with five-piece links, a folding Oysterclasp, and the Easylink comfort extension system allowing approximately 5 mm of adjustment. In this configuration, the Jubilee bracelet gives the watch a more traditional Datejust identity, while the domed bezel keeps the overall profile softer and less formal than a fluted version. The result is a Datejust 36 that balances the warmth of Everose Rolesor, the richer tone of a chocolate sunray dial, and the added refinement of diamond-set hour markers within one of Rolex’s most familiar case formats.
