The Patek Philippe Calatrava 5077/210R-001 5077/210R-001 debuted in 2026 as a limited series of ten pieces, combining gem-setting with a dial in Grand Feu cloisonné enamel enriched by miniature painting on enamel. Executed in rose gold, the reference is centred on a portrait of the Leadbeater’s cockatoo, a parrot species native to southern Australia and known for its distinctive crest. Its rose gold case measures 38 mm in diameter and 8.3 mm in thickness. The watch is water-resistant to 30 metres and fitted with a sapphire crystal case back. The bezel and lugs are set with 22 diamonds weighing 0.17 carats and 90 multicoloured sapphires weighing 0.85 carats, while the prong buckle is set with 6 diamonds weighing 0.01 carats and 23 multicoloured sapphires weighing 0.28 carats. In total, the watch carries 28 diamonds weighing 0.18 carats and 113 multicoloured sapphires weighing 1.13 carats. The dial depicts a Leadbeater’s cockatoo, with the outlines of the plumage in Grand Feu cloisonné enamel formed using approximately 48 cm of gold wire weighing about 0.2 grams. To reproduce the bird’s colour transitions and crest, the enameller worked with a palette of 85 enamel colours, combining semi-opaque, opaque, and transparent compositions. The image was then refined with 14 colours of miniature painting on enamel to reinforce tonal variation and detail across the plumage. Each dial underwent around 10 firings at temperatures ranging from 780°C to 850°C. Time is indicated by rose gold dauphine hands. Inside is calibre 240, Patek Philippe’s ultra-thin self-winding movement. It measures 27.5 mm in diameter and 2.53 mm in thickness, consists of 152 parts, uses 27 jewels, and operates at 21,600 semi-oscillations per hour. The movement is wound by an off-centre 22K gold mini-rotor and provides a minimum power reserve of 48 hours. Its regulating organ comprises a Gyromax balance and Spiromax balance spring, and it bears the Patek Philippe Seal. The watch is fitted with a hand-stitched shiny coral alligator leather strap with square scales, secured by a gem-set rose gold prong buckle.
