About this watch
The IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph 41 George Russell IW3894-11 was introduced in 2026 as part of a limited collaboration between IWC Schaffhausen and Formula One driver George Russell. The watch is limited to 1,063 pieces and features a case manufactured from black zirconium oxide ceramic, measuring 41.9 mm in diameter and 15.5 mm in thickness. Water resistance is rated to 10 bar, and the watch is fitted with a screw-in crown.
The black dial is printed with Arabic numerals and indices in blue, a colour associated with Russell’s helmet design, and the hands are filled with blue Super-LumiNova. A soft-iron inner case provides protection against magnetic fields, while the sapphire crystal is secured against displacement caused by sudden drops in air pressure.
The chronograph is powered by the IWC-manufactured calibre 69380, an automatic movement operating at 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). The movement comprises 33 jewels and delivers a power reserve of approximately 46 hours. Functions include hours, minutes, small seconds with hacking, chronograph hours, minutes and seconds, as well as day and date displays.
The crown and chronograph pushers are made from Ceratanium, while the case back is crafted from titanium and engraved with the number 63, referencing Russell’s racing number. The watch is supplied on a blue rubber strap with a Ceratanium pin buckle and features IWC’s EasX-CHANGE system for tool-free strap changes.
