The Breitling Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Tribute to Concorde AB01389C1C1P1, introduced in 2026, is a limited edition created to mark the 50th anniversary of the Concorde’s first flight. It brings together two elements rooted in the history of aviation: the Navitimer, originally developed in 1952 as a wrist-worn flight computer for pilots, and the Concorde, a supersonic aircraft that redefined commercial air travel by flying at twice the speed of sound.
The watch is housed in a 43 mm stainless steel case with a thickness of 13.69 mm and a lug-to-lug length of 49.07 mm. It features a bidirectional bezel with a circular slide rule, a defining element of the Navitimer line used for aviation-related calculations. The case is fitted with a cambered sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides and a sapphire case back with dedicated engravings referencing the Concorde. Water resistance is rated at 30 metres.
The dial is executed in dark blue with contrasting white subdials, a colour scheme referencing the stratospheric view associated with Concorde flights as well as the aircraft’s “White Bird” nickname. The layout follows the classic Navitimer chronograph configuration with integrated slide rule scales. Applied indexes and hands are treated with luminous material for legibility.
Powering the watch is the Breitling manufacture calibre B01, a self-winding chronograph movement with column wheel and vertical clutch architecture. It operates at 28,800 vibrations per hour, contains 320 components, and provides a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. The movement is COSC-certified and drives central hours, minutes, and seconds, along with chronograph indications.
The Navitimer B01 Chronograph 43 Tribute to Concorde AB01389C1C1P1 is limited to 593 pieces, a number referencing the Olympus 593 engines that powered the Concorde. The case back is engraved with inscriptions including “Tribute to Concorde” and “Mach 2,” the aircraft’s cruising speed.
