The Zenith Defy Skyline Tourbillon The Time Place 25th Anniversary Special Edition 49.9301.3630/15.I001 was introduced as a commemorative edition marking the 25th anniversary of The Time Place. The model is based on the Defy Skyline Tourbillon platform and combines a high-frequency tourbillon movement with a ceramic case construction and edition-specific details. The watch is housed in a 41 mm black ceramic case with an angular profile characteristic of the Defy Skyline collection. Water resistance is rated to 100 metres. A sapphire crystal case back reveals the movement and features anniversary-specific markings, including a white The Time Place logo. The dial is executed in an ice-blue tone with a starry-sky pattern, a recurring design element within the Defy Skyline line. Applied ruthenium-plated hour markers provide contrast against the dial surface. The tourbillon is positioned at 6 o’clock and doubles as a 1/10th of a second indicator, reflecting the high-frequency nature of the movement. Powering the watch is the automatic El Primero 3630 manufacture calibre. The movement operates at a frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour and delivers a power reserve of approximately 60 hours. In addition to hours and minutes, it incorporates a tourbillon escapement that completes one rotation every 10 seconds. The oscillating weight is customised for this edition and engraved with “25,” “The Time Place,” and “Years of Excellence,” finished with rose-gold-coloured varnish. The Defy Skyline Tourbillon The Time Place 25th Anniversary Special Edition 49.9301.3630/15.I001 is equipped with Zenith’s interchangeable strap system. It is supplied with a black ceramic bracelet and an additional black rubber strap, both secured by folding clasps.
