The Zenith Chronomaster Sport Skeleton 03.3130.3600/01.M3130 debuted in 2026 as a stainless steel execution of the openworked Chronomaster Sport, combining a black ceramic bezel with a smoked sapphire dial and the skeletonized El Primero 3600 SK. Within the current Chronomaster Sport family, this reference brings the movement itself to the forefront while retaining the collection’s 1/10th of a second chronograph architecture and the signature overlapping tri-colour counters. Its 41mm case is executed in stainless steel and finished with alternating brushed and polished surfaces, preserving the model’s mix of sporting intent and refined detailing. The bezel itself is made of black ceramic and graduated over 10 seconds, allowing the central chronograph hand, which completes one full rotation every 10 seconds, to display elapsed tenths of a second directly. Zenith rates water resistance at 10 ATM. This version is supplied on a stainless steel bracelet and includes an additional black rubber strap. The dial is constructed in sapphire, tinted from black at the periphery to transparent at the centre, revealing the openworked architecture of the movement beneath. The familiar 3-6-9 overlapping counters remain in place in grey, anthracite, and blue, maintaining a visual link to the original El Primero of 1969. Rhodium-plated faceted hands and hour markers are coated with Super-LumiNova C1, preserving legibility against the more complex skeletonized backdrop. Through the dial, the column wheel and horizontal clutch layout of the calibre become part of the watch’s visual identity rather than remaining concealed beneath it. Inside is the El Primero 3600 SK, an automatic high-frequency chronograph movement operating at 36,000 vibrations per hour, or 5Hz, with a power reserve of approximately 60 hours. It displays central hours and minutes, small seconds at 9 o’clock, and a 1/10th of a second chronograph with a central hand making one revolution in 10 seconds, alongside a 60-minute counter at 6 o’clock and a 60-second counter at 3 o’clock. The movement incorporates a silicon escape wheel and lever, a stop-seconds mechanism for precise setting, and an openworked star-shaped oscillating weight. A notable feature of this stainless steel version is Zenith’s newly patented micro-adjustable folding clasp. Developed over three years, the ZENCLASP system allows tool-free on-wrist adjustment in 2.5mm increments across a total range of 10mm, while its internal construction uses ceramic ball components to secure both locking and positioning functions. In this reference, that clasp forms a significant part of the update, adding a new ergonomic element to the Chronomaster Sport Skeleton’s established high-frequency chronograph platform.
