The Tudor Royal M2836C1A0-0105 debuted in 2026 as a 36mm stainless steel date model within the updated Royal collection, distinguished here by its salmon dial and applied Roman numerals. Among the current 36mm references, this configuration stands apart through dial colour rather than marker treatment, retaining the more classical numeral layout while introducing one of the more distinctive new tones in the expanded Royal palette. Its stainless steel case measures 36mm in diameter and 9.7mm in height, with polished and satin-brushed surfaces that continue the Royal line’s combination of dress-oriented and sport-oriented cues. The bezel follows the revised notched design introduced for this generation, with a sharper and more crisply defined profile than before. A screw-down winding crown in stainless steel, signed with the Tudor shield in relief, contributes to the 100-metre water resistance, while a sapphire crystal protects the dial. As with the rest of the updated Royal family, the interface between case and bracelet was also reworked so that the end links no longer contact the case directly. The dial is executed in salmon and fitted with applied Roman numerals, together with a date aperture at 3 o’clock. In the 36mm format, the absence of the day display used on the 40mm models results in a cleaner and more compact layout, while the warmer dial tone gives this reference a noticeably different character from the black, silver, or blue variants. It is regulated to a tolerance of -2/+4 seconds per day on the fully assembled watch and incorporates a variable inertia balance, a non-magnetic silicon hairspring, and a stop-seconds function for precise time setting. The bracelet is the Royal’s integrated five-link steel design, with satin-brushed external and central links, polished intermediate links, and a folding clasp with safety catch. In this 36mm salmon-dial configuration, the uninterrupted transition from case to bracelet remains central to the model’s identity, while the warmer dial colour gives the watch a more individual presence within the broader Royal family.
