The Tudor Royal M2836C1A0-0102 debuted in 2026 as a 36mm stainless steel date model within the updated Royal collection, distinguished by its blue dial and applied stick hour markers. In the context of the Royal line, this baton-marker configuration is new for this generation and gives the watch a cleaner, less traditional dial character than the Roman numeral versions offered alongside it. Its stainless steel case measures 36mm in diameter and 9.7mm in height, combining polished and satin-brushed surfaces in the manner typical of the Royal family. The bezel follows the revised notched design introduced for this generation, with more sharply cut polished facets that give the case a crisper profile. The watch is fitted with a screw-down stainless steel crown bearing the Tudor shield in relief, and the case is water-resistant to 100 metres. A sapphire crystal protects the dial. The blue dial is laid out with applied stick hour markers and a date aperture at 3 o’clock. Without the day display of the 40mm models, the 36mm format has a more compact and restrained dial arrangement, and in this version the baton markers reinforce that effect further. The use of stick markers instead of Roman numerals changes the character of the watch noticeably, making this one of the more pared-back and contemporary executions within the Royal collection, while the blue dial adds a stronger sense of colour than the black or silver variants. Inside is the Tudor Manufacture Calibre MT5412, a self-winding mechanical movement with bidirectional rotor system, 28 jewels, and a power reserve of approximately 70 hours. It is regulated to a tolerance of -2/+4 seconds per day on the fully assembled watch and incorporates a variable inertia balance, a non-magnetic silicon hairspring, and a stop-seconds function for precise time setting. The bracelet is the Royal’s integrated five-link steel design, with satin-brushed external and central links, polished intermediate links, and a folding clasp with safety catch.
