The Tudor Royal M2830A1S0-0002 debuted in 2026 as a 30mm stainless steel model within the updated Royal collection, combining a burgundy dial, diamond-set bezel, and a mixed display of Roman numerals and diamond-set hour markers. Within the current 30mm steel range, it stands out through both dial colour and marker arrangement, giving this compact time-only reference a more decorative and more saturated presentation than the simpler silver, salmon, or light blue variants. Its stainless steel case measures 30mm in diameter and 8.7mm in height, with alternating polished and satin-brushed surfaces. The bezel is executed in stainless steel and set with diamonds, distinguishing this version from the standard notched steel references elsewhere in the line. A screw-down winding crown in stainless steel, signed with the Tudor shield in relief, contributes to the 100-metre water resistance, while a sapphire crystal protects the dial. As with the rest of the updated Royal family, the end-link and case relationship was also revised so the bracelet links no longer touch the case directly. The dial is executed in burgundy and arranged with Roman numerals at 6, 9, and 12 o’clock, while the remaining hours are indicated by diamond-set markers. With no calendar indications, the display remains visually open, allowing the colour and marker configuration to take precedence. Compared with the mother-of-pearl version, this reference relies less on dial material and more on tone and contrast, with the darker burgundy surface giving the diamond-set details greater prominence. Inside is the Tudor Manufacture Calibre MT5201, a self-winding mechanical movement with 26 jewels, bidirectional winding, and a power reserve of approximately 50 hours. It is regulated to -3/+5 seconds per day on the fully assembled watch and features a variable inertia balance, a non-magnetic silicon hairspring, and a stop-seconds function for precise time setting. The integrated five-link stainless steel bracelet combines satin-brushed external and central links with polished intermediate links and closes with a folding clasp and safety catch.
