In this reference, the familiar Datejust formula is retained, but the dial introduces a more specific decorative treatment through diamond-set Roman numerals at VI and IX, giving the watch a different balance from versions with conventional baton markers. Its Oyster case measures 36 mm in diameter and follows the established architecture of the Datejust line, with a monobloc middle case, screw-down case back, and Twinlock screw-down winding crown. The case is executed in white Rolesor, Rolex’s combination of Oystersteel and white gold, and is fitted with a fluted bezel in white gold. That bezel remains one of the defining features of the Datejust, giving the watch a more formal and immediately recognisable profile than domed-bezel versions in the same family.
