About this watch

The NOMOS Tetra gold WATCH_REF] debuted in 2026 as a one-of-a-kind Twice Unique execution based on the Tetra 27 design. Within the Twice Unique format, each design is created as an inseparable pair in stainless steel and 18 kt gold, with five models per collection. In the 1966 series, Tetra is one of those five models, its dial reworked from a textile design created by Anna Diederichs in Paris in 1966. Its square case is executed in 18 kt gold and retains the compact Tetra 27 proportions, measuring 27.5mm by 27.5mm, with a height of 6.1mm and a lug-to-lug distance of 38.5mm. The watch is fitted with a sapphire crystal. As with the Tetra format more broadly, the stepped lugs and square geometry remain central to the watch’s profile. The dial is specific to the 1966 collection and is derived from Anna Diederichs’ original pattern design from Paris. For the Twice Unique watches, NOMOS selected dial-sized excerpts from the original design and adapted them to each model. In the Tetra version, the square format frames the pattern particularly tightly, giving the composition a more contained and graphic appearance. As part of the 1966 treatment, the dial replaces the standard white and grey silver-plated layout of the regular Tetra 27 with this textile-based surface. Inside is the NOMOS Alpha, a hand-wound in-house movement measuring 23.3mm in diameter and 2.6mm in height, with 17 jewels and a power reserve of up to 43 hours. Alpha remains one of NOMOS’ core manually wound calibres and is used here as the base movement for the Tetra format. This reference is fitted on a black Horween Genuine Shell Cordovan strap with an 18mm lug width.
