The Longines Legend Diver 59 L3.795.4.59.9 debuted in 2026 as part of the Legend Diver collection and revisits the design of Longines’ compressor-style dive watches first introduced in 1959. The watch features a stainless steel case with a round profile and a dual-crown construction characteristic of compressor dive watches. One crown controls the internal rotating diving flange positioned beneath the crystal, while the other is used for setting the time. The case is water-resistant to 30 bar and fitted with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating applied to both sides. The dial is finished in black with a grained texture. Painted Arabic numerals and indexes serve as hour markers, while silvered sandblasted hands indicate the time. The dial layout omits a date display, maintaining the symmetrical configuration associated with early Legend Diver models. Power is provided by the Longines calibre L888, a self-winding mechanical movement beating at 25,200 vibrations per hour. The movement is equipped with a monocrystalline silicon balance spring and offers a power reserve of approximately 72 hours. It drives the central hours, minutes, and seconds indications. The L3.795.4.59.9 is fitted with a mesh-style bracelet.
