The Breitling Superocean Automatic 42 A173751B1C1S1 is a limited-edition version of the contemporary Superocean, executed with a 42 mm stainless steel case and a blue ceramic bezel. The case measures 12.56 mm thick and has a 22 mm lug width. It is fitted with a screw-down crown with two gaskets, a cambered sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides, and a unidirectional rotating bezel. Water resistance is rated to 300 meters. The blue dial is framed by an orange chapter ring, a color configuration specific to this limited-edition. Time is indicated by broad central hour, minute, and seconds hands, with large applied hour markers for legibility. The design follows the modern Superocean format, which takes its cues from the 1960s Superocean Slow Motion with strong contrast, simplified dial architecture, and oversized luminous elements. Inside is the Breitling caliber 17, an automatic movement running at 28,800 vibrations per hour. It has 26 jewels and provides a power reserve of approximately 38 hours. The watch is supplied on a blue rubber strap with a stainless steel folding clasp. The strap measures 22 mm at the lugs and 18 mm at the clasp.
